Now Paytm has started a new service increasing the convenience of its customers, under which users can now create their own personalized UPI ID.
Paytm users will get more privacy
Under the new service started by Paytm, users can now create their own personalized UPI ID. With this new service of Paytm, users can keep their mobile number private, which increases privacy. In the new personalized UPI ID, you can create UPI IDs like name@ptyes and name@ptaxis. Currently, this facility has been made live on the handles issued by Yes Bank and Axis Bank. Very soon this facility will be made live on all other banking handles as well.
With this new service of Paytm, people's personal information like their mobile number will be safe. A Paytm spokesperson said that we have introduced personal UPI ID to provide more options and privacy in payments, which users will be able to keep their mobile number private.
How to create a personalized UPI ID on Paytm
First go to the Paytm app
Now click on the profile icon.
Go to the UPI settings option.
Click on Manage UPI ID and click on the option of Personalized UPI ID.
Now confirm and activate the new personalized UPI ID.
