
Celebrating a Decade of Progress
New Delhi, June 9: On the occasion of marking 11 years of governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the nation's accomplishments, particularly in the fields of defence and the economy.
In a post on X, Singh emphasized the government's dedication to Atmanirbharta (self-reliance) and its positive influence on India's position in the global arena.
He stated, “Motivated by PM Shri @narendramodi’s vision of #AtmanirbharBharat, the defence sector has made significant strides towards self-reliance, positioning India among the top five economies worldwide. Today, India is well-prepared, confident, and steadfast in its determination.”
Singh's comments coincide with the government's celebration of 11 Years Of Seva, showcasing the remarkable changes India has experienced since 2014, especially in defence manufacturing, economic advancement, and international relations.
Reflecting on the broader democratic and developmental aspirations fulfilled during PM Modi’s leadership, Singh remarked, “These #11YearsOfSeva represent the realization of the dreams of our freedom fighters and Constitution makers, who envisioned a democracy that encompasses not only political but also social and economic dimensions.”
In his message to the public, Singh expressed gratitude for their ongoing support in this journey of national development.
He concluded, “As we celebrate these extraordinary #11YearsOfSeva, I extend my congratulations to every Indian who has contributed to this growth narrative, development journey, and the history we are creating together. Let us continue to move forward—stronger, prouder, and united.”
The Defence Minister’s statement highlights the Modi administration's commitment to fostering a 'resilient, self-sufficient India,' capable of safeguarding its interests while also taking a leading role on the global economic and strategic front.
