The monsoons have slowed down in Mumbai for the past few days, but now the clouds have become active again. The reason for this is oligo cyclonic activities and weak southwest monsoon winds, which are affecting the region.

IMD scientist Sushma Nair told news agency ANI, “Yellow alert is in force for the next 24 hours. The red alert that was issued earlier was only for 2-3 hours of heavy rain. Since that rain has now reduced, it was considered a nowcast warning.”

Possibility of rain from 7 to 10 June
