Previously, the continuous rainfall, along with thunderstorms and strong winds, had lowered temperatures, providing some relief to the populace.

The IMD forecasts a rise in maximum temperatures by 5-6°C over the next five days. Here’s a detailed outlook for the week ahead:


June 9: A clear sky is expected with dust-raising winds of 20-30 km/h. Maximum temperature will reach 41°C, with warnings of strong surface winds during the day.
June 10: The sky will remain mostly clear, with dust-raising winds continuing. The maximum temperature will be around 42°C.
June 11: Strong surface winds are expected, with clear skies and a maximum temperature of 43°C.
June 12: A clear sky is anticipated, with maximum temperatures reaching 43°C.
June 13: Weather conditions may shift as the sky becomes partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 41-43°C.
June 14: A partly cloudy sky is expected, with maximum temperatures around 41°C.


The IMD has not issued any specific warnings for the week, and heatwave conditions are not anticipated.
