Your smartphone works properly even after soaking in the rain or falling in the water. Many are surprised to see this. What magic is there? It is often wondering how the phone works properly after falling into the water. But there is no magic behind this, but this is the maximum of technology. This technology protects the device from water and dust. Earlier, the phone would be bad after falling into the water. But now many smartphones are water-resistant.
Tech Tips: Smartphone camera powerfloor, but photos are useless; Help to do these 5 settings
Many smartphones launched with updated technology come with water-resistant tags. Water-resistant is a phone waterproof or you can dip it in water for even 4 to 5 hours. Water-resistance means that if your phone falls into the water for a short time, it does not happen. This is determined by the limit of how much time and water should be. No phone is 100% waterproof. ‘Waterproof’ means that it is resistant to water to some extent. (Photo courtesy – Pinterest)
The game of the IP rating
Each water-resistant phone is launched with an IP (ingress protection) rating, including IP67 or IP68. Many do not know exactly what IP wrote the numbers. So let’s know.
The first issue (like ‘6’): This indicates safety of solid particles (such as dust). ‘6’ means completely safe from dust.
Second issue (Jasan’s ‘7’ Kinwa ‘8’): That means your phone is safe from water.
Ip67: That means your phone can be safe for 30 minutes in a meter deep water.
IP68: This means that your phone can be safe for 30 minutes in 1.5 meters or deep water.
The most important thing is to prevent water from going into the interior of the phone.
Screen and body: A strong, water -tight adhesive is used to attach the phone’s body to the display. It works like a gasket.
Buttons and on the port: There are small rubber gaskets or o-rings on each hole in buttons like volume buttons, power button, SIM tray and charging port. It is used for water cash.
At speakers and mike: A fine mesh is placed on the holes on the speaker and the microphone. This mesh helps the sound and air to go inside, but prevents the water from going to the interior.
