The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of major changes in the weather in the next few hours, especially for many parts of the country, especially for North India. There is a possibility of strong thunderstorms with heavy rains in many states including Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR), Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

According to the IMD forecast, strong winds may blow at a speed of 60 to 80 kmph in these areas. There will be rain with thunderstorms and hailstorm (hail fall) is also expected in some places. The Meteorological Department has stated that these are pre-monsoon activities.
