Possible effects and precautions:

Due to this sharp and changed weather, many problems can arise, for which citizens should be prepared:

  1. Power Supply: Electric poles and wires fall due to strong winds and storms may cause lightning or disrupted for a long time.

  2. transportation: Traffic on roads can be severely affected due to thunderstorms and waterlogging. Reduced visibility will slow the speed of vehicles and can create a jam situation.

  3. Damage: Weak or raw houses, trees, hoardings and temporary structures can cause heavy damage. There is also a possibility of damage to standing crops.

  4. Visibility: The dust storm and heavy rains will reduce the visibility greatly, which can cause difficulty in driving the vehicle.

The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to take precautions and ensure security:

  • Do not get out of the house if not necessary and avoid traveling.
