Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, Central Substitute Horticulture Institute (Cish), Lucknow, said that “Mango Baba” mobile app is very helpful in transporting mangoes directly from farmers to customers.

He informed that Mango Baba app is a dedicated platform of common production, protection, marketing and export information. In this, useful information like weather information, pests and disease management, market value, description of advanced varieties and scientific advice have been made available in easy language. Also, this app also gives information about mango varieties and their suitable areas.
He said that at a time when digital empowerment is bringing revolution in the agriculture sector, efforts like Mango Baba app can bring real changes in the lives of farmers.
