According to the official website of the RBI, a holiday has been declared on June 6 under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Banks will be closed only in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, while they will be operational in all other states.
Will Banks Be Closed on June 7?
While only a few banks will be closed on June 6, many banks will not operate on June 7. Only in Ahmedabad, Gangtok, Itanagar, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram will banks remain open. In all other states, banks will be closed on June 7.
