Furthermore, India is spearheading the current technological and telecommunications revolution.

India, for example, is regarded as a digital-first economy, and a telecom revolution is now taking place. Communication costs are now among the lowest in the world because of scalability. At the CII Annual Business Summit 2025, held here, Scindia said, “The country has achieved ‘atmanirbharta’ in telecom and is among the four countries manufacturing the technology stack.”

The minister went on to say that new services being added to the postal system are another way that technology is changing the postal department.

He asserts that it is crucial to concentrate on results that foster trust since enlightened leadership has become a key component of sustainable progress and a defining characteristic for advancing India.

“It is a great accomplishment that India has become the fourth largest economy in the world,” he remarked.

The minister also emphasized how important the northeast is to India’s development, as seen by its decadal growth rate of more than 12–13 percent.

He went on to say, “India’s aspirations for Viksit Bharat would be propelled by the eight states.”

The northeast is becoming India’s strategic gateway to South-East Asia, driving trade, connectivity, and our ambition for Viksit Bharat, said Sanjiv Puri, President, CII, who also congratulated the Minister on attracting investment interest of Rs 4.3 lakh crore from the “Rising North-East Investors Summit 2025.”

“There is a lot of room for industry involvement in areas like creating skill centers in food processing, hospitality, etc., which should be utilized to their full potential,” he said.
