The result will be published online in PDF format, showing the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified. Those who clear the mains will move to the next round, which is the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

SBI Clerk mains result 2025: What to do if the result page doesn't load
Candidates may face difficulty accessing the result due to high traffic. SBI advises them to wait and retry. The result is only available online, and there is no separate intimation.
Candidates must clear language test for final selection
The SBI Clerk final result will include a merit list of candidates recommended for appointment. These candidates must appear for the LPT, which checks their ability to read, write, and speak the local language of the state they selected while applying. Final appointments depend on qualifying this language test.
SBI Clerk mains result 2025
The SBI Clerk mains examination was conducted on April 10 and 12, 2025. The merit list is prepared based on the aggregate scores in descending order for each state and category. There is no sectional cut-off. Marks are normalised using the equi-percentile method.
SBI Clerk mains result 2025 Cut-off marks
Alongside the result, SBI will publish the category-wise and state-wise cut-off marks and individual scorecards. The scorecard will show section-wise and total marks. Candidates can access it online using their registration details. Hard copies will not be sent by post.
Score calculation and negative marking
Each correct answer in the mains exam carries one mark. For every wrong answer, 1/4th of the mark assigned to that question is deducted. The prelims exam is of 100 marks, and the mains exam carries 200 marks. Final selection is based on the mains score and performance in the LPT.
Waitlist remains valid for one year
SBI maintains a 50% waitlist for the Clerk exam. This waitlist is valid for one year from the date of the final result announcement.
SBI Clerk job responsibilities
Selected candidates will handle various banking tasks, such as opening accounts, processing transactions, handling cheques, and responding to customer queries. Clerks also manage cash, clearances, and email communications at the branch level.
